The only restriction to joining cricket geek is that you play for some sort of cricket team, it might be a senior, social, or school team, or maybe you just belong to a bunch of rednecks chucking down pies. There should be semis in suburban 3c. By waq

- Just a thought, as I'm new to this grade and was unaware that there are no play off rounds. If there were it would create a whole lot more interest in the competition as teams would have something to play for. I suppose there are quite a number of teams to cater for and when there is semis and what not it might put pressure on the grounds to host them all at once. But if there's a will there's a way. It's been done this way in the Nth Canterbury Association for as long as I can remember with all finals in all grades played at one ground. Another thing I noticed is that maybe the home side should be responsible for afternoon teas in the break between innings which is something else we could learn off our country cousins.
