A place for cricket geek members to discuss anything cricket related (or not). Post away and lets see where it leads. The only restriction to joining cricket geek is that you play for some sort of cricket team, it might be a senior, social, or school team, or maybe you just belong to a bunch of rednecks chucking down pies. It doesn't matter join up, give us your stats and see where you rate on the cricket-geekometer.

- Some commonly asked questions...
- How do I enter game results? By Dick
- * login
* Go to your teams home page
* Click on results menu (on left)
* Select the game you want to update.
* Just above the 'Batting and Fielding' table, there should be a link saying [Edit Details] - click this, if you don't see it, talk to your teams administrator to get access. You must be a results administrator
* Once clicked, you will see the basic games scores, update these as appropriate, then click 'save and continue'
* You should now see the team list and stats for each player, enter the runs, wickets, etc.. for each player. Scroll along to the right to put in catches, runouts and stumpings.
* Click 'Save and enter report' if you want to write a match report, otherwise hit save, then go back to your home page.
Also you can click on the 'Fines' menu option and enter dropped catches and similar offenses...

- Is there a maximum number allowed? We have 13 boys on the team but I can't seem to enter the name of the 13th boy.

UPDATE: Never mind...once I logged out and back in, I was able to add the last boy's name.

- No there should be no limit. At present there is no way to enter your competition rules, i.e. points per win. If this differs from 5 for a win, just use the contact us form to send me your rules, e.g. points for win, draw, loss (or any other eventuality) and I'll set them up accordingly.
