| Haydn fires the Experience to another clinical win by Cam | After the win the previous week going dragging long into our evening drinking time, we welcomed the chance to bowl first and attempt to get to FBB smartly. Jake & Grant again bowled very well for little reward, but the day belonged to Haydn. He hit the keeping gloves hard and was too good for Hornby, ending with 6 for 16 - with a chance at 7 going down in the slips. Rikkie and Rosco then tidily took care of a pesky last wicket partnership.
Bede and Bobby opened up in pursuit of 92 and they didn't muck around. Bobby departed for 14 off 5 balls only for Rik and Bede to bring home victory with 26.4 overs left and a strong batting line up in waiting. Bede ended with 45 but deserved a fifty and Rik made his 23 look easy. So then, an impressive game from the boys with the bat and ball and lets hope the winning form can continue. |
