St Albans wilt under the Experience heat by Cam
Again, we found ourselves with good climatic conditions with which to ply our trade. After we found our pitch in the leafy expanse of South Hagley Park, we set ourselves up comfortably under a big shady tree on the northern boundary. St Albans elected to bat and started off in an uninspiring manner. Jake & Rikkie troubled the openers but didn't bag as many wickets as they deserved. Cam & Jimmy then came on tightened the screws. Cam had 2 for none off his first 5 overs, but the 8 maiden goal wasn't to be and he was slapped for 22 runs of his final 3 overs. The fine fielding display was neatly capped off by Ross who finished with 3-16 and we found ourselves chasing a meagre 125 to win.

The chase started on a less than perfect start with Daz getting out, but Dan and Cam steadied the ship. Their partnership mixed good running with some tasty boundaries making full use of the quick outfield. Cam continued his rich vein of form that he's somehow pulled from his arse to finish on 60. Dan and Bede polished off the remaining runs to conclude a sound 8 wicket victory. The juggernaut rolls on.
