| Solid result nets 4th win on the trott! by Jase | An almost full strength Experience (one day we will have everyone on deck)took to the field against Hornby at St Albans. Hornby opted to Bat which had served them well in the early rounds of the season. After an initial partnership from the openers we started to make inroads nicely. At drinks we had them 76/5, with the game slightly in the balance. However after drinks we chipped another couple out, until a good 40 odd run partnership meant we didnt have it all our own way! They ended up on 134, which we would have been happy chasing at the toss!
Again a few early wickets and we were under the pump a bit. But Grant with a good fifty (68) and Dan a handy 19, saved us from to many more wickets falling at the top of the innings. The game was effectively over when Grant and Dan left, but Jake chipped in with a nice 15 no to see us home with about 9 overs left.
