MP takes the fun out of cricket
It was the last game of the season, and with both teams having no chance for the 3B title, the Pirates were hoping MP would be up for a fun day. Unfortunately they had other ideas and played the game like it was an international. So as it stands the Pirates took the batting order out of the hat and reversed it for the bowling order, giving everyone [more]...

Syds win by default vs Brighton
A pity that Brighton has pulled out of the grade but the goats still got some play with the Miller Bar stepping up to give us our first game at Sydenham Park for many years. Losing the toss put the goats in the field with everyone getting a 4 over spell based on the random deck of cards draw.Simon opened up with a miserly spell of slow left arm [more]...

Addington Feel the Pain as Hornby Clean Up
Another fine day greeted us at Barrington and the boys were confident knowing that at worst they would finish up 1st = at the end of the days play. Big Richard hit 19 and Neil 18 as the rest of the team [more]...

You would think that would fall to our [more]...

Great day ruined by cricket
Well bugger me with an Afghan goat herder and tell me that apart from the Al Fayeds and the womens mags no one else cares about either Princess Diana or the Addington 3cs, because certainly the cricketing Gods don't. Winning the toss with a broken down captain, who injured himself whilst sitting. Shades of Fun Eddie's run of sleeping injuries. An [more]...

Marist cant stop the Southern juggernaut
With only two games remaining SD needed to win both their games and hope that the Buffallos dropped both of theirs to win the comp so, like every game since christmas, this was a must win for us.Michel and Scotty fell early so Al and Shane decided to block out 15 overs for not much return. The slow batting was all part of a plan however their [more]...
